Photoshop

These are pictures that we photoshopped. In the first one we attached a frog to a tongue and in the second one we took a zebra, basically cut off the skin, and attached it to the rhino.
In this project we were supposed to put together a photoshopped picture where it looks like something bad is about to happen. In this picture I tried to make it so that it looks like the girl is about to kick the soccerball and break a window. I couldn't get the girl's shadow exactly right so it looks a little weird. I really like photoshopping though because you can kind of play God and make something out of nothing.

Ceramics

For this project we basically had to take a chunk of clay and make a bowl out of it. We flattened the clay using a slab roller then cut out a design for the edges of the bowl. I used red slip to make the petals of the flower and a toothpick to make the lines in the petals. I didn't really know how to work with the bottom of the bowl, so I kind of just left it how it was. After they came out of the kiln, we put glaze on them to make them look smooth and shiny. Overall I liked how my bowl turned out!

Pastels

This is my pastel still life drawing. I didn't really like working with pastels, and I don't think it turned out very well either. The most difficult part about this project was trying to add in highlights and shadows, and trying to blend the colors.
